It's time to put our foot down. 

One of my core beliefs is that it should not take millions of dollars to fund a campaign for US Congress every two years. It just seems like a waste of money. If you're good, you're good. You represent everyone. You shouldn't have to outspend the competition 1000 to 1 to win. Your character and your actions and your passion for fulfilling the duties you've been sworn to perform should be enough, should suffice as the currency that gets you elected to public office. That's why I'm not taking any money from corporations, lobbyists, the health care industry or the myriad of other private interest groups, and I'm not asking you for money so I can build up a fat election account.  I'm asking you to believe in the power of unity, I'm asking you to help change our world and the big step is made on election day. And while we're on the road to election day, you can make a difference, you can play a big part, you can volunteer to hold up a sign for us, a symbol of unity that says you agree with this campaign for real change. You agree that the time has come to come together. So yes, you can buy a sign for your window or yard, you can buy a magnet to stick on your car, you can buy a t-shirt or a big button and wear it around and show off how smart you are. However you feel, you do you, but just remember...spread the word, register to vote and VOTE!
